"The lady that works the front desk at this shop is very rude and incompetent. My husband went to drop off our vehicle and she sighed while taking his keys like her job is so hard. She then had the gall to tell us that the squeaking noise was a warped rotor but it would be fine to drive on, when we asked which side the warped rotor was on she said “idk.” I don’t even want to pay them the 50 for looking at my car because they couldn’t actually tell me what was wrong and the service from this lady was unacceptable."
"I'm updating my review due to an issue with his office staff. Now Allen's a good guy with a good sense of humor, but the last encounter I had with the woman working for him was ridiculous. Disrespectful and rude. I had considered him a friend and for him to allow someone to tell me it's going to cost $50 to even have him look at my car in the first place... that's absurd. I wouldn't advise anybody using his shop until the desk person has been replaced. I would also suggest he publicly announce that she's been replaced as well. For him to tell me there's another person in line behind me if I don't make an appointment to come to his shop, although maybe true...it was extremely disrespectful and I don't think his way of thinking is going to keep his business up and running. Treating the people who are there supporting your business like garbage, while we are out cheering you on. Word of mouth and honest opinions go a lot further than disrespect. I will no longer promote his business or tell anyone about the shop until I receive an apology. Allen's is such a great shop! Two times I've been down and he's got me back up and running in no time!"
"The guys are friendly, and honest with you, and to me that's very important, lots of neat Sinclair memorabilia around to check out too, they are on the original route 66 business loop through Joplin, before it was switched to 7th Street, the garage has been there since 1939 and was welpmans garage until 1977, I believe it was also a filling station, but don't quote me on that lol I do recommend Allan's, like I said they upfront and honest, also friendly ppl."
