Firestone Complete Auto Care

"Brought in the vehicle the first time to take care of overheating issues and other engine problems plus routine maintenance. Tech assured me everything was taken care of but driving less than a mile down the road, overheating issue is still present so I turn around and drop it back off. Afterward they state that there is a crack in the radiator so they change that out plus thermostat and new hoses. Drive out of the parking lot again and the same issue happens not even a mile down the road so again, I turn around and head back. Asked Josh why techs are not driving the vehicle afterward to ensure issues are corrected. Didn't give a definitive answer but left the vehicle again to have them figure out the issue. 3rd times the charm hopefully and waiting to hear back on what they discover. Not too happy about it. Will update survey rating depending on how they perform."

"I understand that you don't work on transmission but when I paid over $100 for diagnostic and you didn't even inflate my tires that had a low level light on and when i asked if my battery was on and you responded ya it is fine but after just a couple days you had to jump start it when i picked it up... not good service at all."

"If there was an option to give negative stars I absolutely would. I took my car to this firestone because of an issue I experienced on the right side of my vehicle. They advised me to fix both sides when there wasn't an issue on the left side. I told them to fix the right side. I picked up my car and was having the same issue as when I dropped it off. I let the manager Josh know. He told me they fixed the left side instead because that's what they decided to do (without consulting me. When really what happened is they fixed the left side in error). He was basically letting me know that regardless of what the customer requests and pays for, the mechanics here do what they want to your car at your expense. Josh was very unapologetic about it and offered no resolve. I called customer service and was supposed to receive a call from the Area Manager Douglas A. It's been 3 weeks of calling customer service and I have not received a call yet. I ended up taking my car to another Firestone where they let me know that the problem was NOT what I was previously told at this Firestone. The Shawnee Firestone fixed the problem on the RIGHT side. Now I have paid for 2 separate repairs! 1 of which, I did NOT need. Bottom line don't take your car here, because when they overcharge you or fix what they want, they'll take your money and send you out the door with your car still un-repaired. And, the corporate office will not support you or follow through with they're "2 Day Promise". I've been waiting 3 weeks for someone to call me back. My file number has been escalated to the highest level and still no response."

"I was SO pleased with my experience here!! I had an unexpected flat tire and they were the only place fairly close to my home that would work me in on the same day to fix it!! AND they were so kind about it!! Everyone I dealt with there was very nice. I had a couple other issues they took care of for me also as well as another that they actually explained how I could take care of partially on my own and save a LOT of money. How many auto places does THAT?!?!? They were awesome. I'll be doing business with them again! I highly recommend them!!"
