"The line may be long but the food is worth it! This is my favorite KC BBQ place so far. They have an amazing selection of sandwiches and all of the classic BBQ items as well. They don't smother everything with sauce but they provide the sauce at the table so you can do it yourself if you choose. Their sides are also standard BBQ sides but they are a little different in the best way, they add multiple types of beans to their BBQ beans and have a nice blend of cheese and spices to their Mac and cheese. Overall it may take you 30 mins to wait in line but the tastes you experience will be worth it! Plus they have good gas too."

"Wow. The line was wrapped around the building but it was worth the wait. Usually, I only find ribs this good from people who have been making them for years on their smokers for competition. These ribs were top-tier. The pulled pork, sausage, and spicy coleslaw were tasty as well. I'm definitely going to come back to try other menu items. However, I will probably get the ribs again. Fun fact, they make and case the sausage on-site themselves."

"Went to the original location for Joe’s Kansas City BBQ and it was good. Had the Z-man sandwich with brisket. It was filled with meat and topped with onion rings and a little sauce. Really good and definitely see why they are known for this item. The sauce is more on the sweet side but not too much. I also got some turkey, it was really tasty, sliced pretty thin - minimum to order is a 1/2 pound. We tried several sides - corn, coleslaw, Mac & Cheese and fries. All the sides were good but I would say the mac & cheese and corn were delicious. They give you a ton of fries, probably can split an order with someone. I liked the coleslaw too, it tasted very fresh with just a sweet hint of flavor. Definitely would come back to try some more. Get here early as the line is out the door often."

"Good food and great setup. Very quick service. Got the pulled pork sandy with Mac and cheese. Pork was very moist and the add on sauces were tasty. Standard and spicy, though the spicy wasn’t very hot. The Mac was fantastic, so creamy and cheesy!!"
