"There is clearly an issue with the employees here wanting to be closed before they are supposed to since I see other reviews saying the same thing. 40 minutes before this place closes my wife gets behind a car in the drive thru and when it’s her turn and she pulls up, no one comes on the intercom. She waits a few minutes and starts to say “hello” and get someone’s attention with no response. Someone just got food before us and clearly there are people inside and they completely ignored her even when she pulled up to the window. Absolutely no excuse. Hire new staff and fire whoever was closing on 3/10/24."

"We have bought food and drinks here from the time it was built. We pulled into slot 13 last night to get a cherry limeade. It was about 9:30 when we pulled in..it almost became a contest. We pushed the button. We sat there until 9:52 with no response. Several other cars came too, but left after no response. We could see folks moving around in the restaurant. Finally at 9:52 I drove around to the drive thru. I could see the back door open, and a black fella with pig tails. He started to close the door. I honked and finally he looked up. I asked if they were open...he grumbled yes. After about 4 minutes he asked over the intercom what we wanted. We bought a Route 44. We paid $4.34 for it. It was so full of ice that you almost couldn't push the straw thru. It had very little cherry syrup, and no cherry on it at all.....EDIT...the manager reached out to me. She was very nice. From what I gather corporate just dumped a real mess on her hands and is giving very little support. She didn't say that...but the signs are there."

"The teenagers that work here are probably the stupidest kids on the planet. I feel bad for them honestly. I’ve said 100 times that I’m going to stop going here because the service is the worst of any fast food restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life. I wish I could call out some of the employees by name. I’m honestly concerned for the future of America if this is what we are breeding and sending into the workforce. Where are the people that train the Chik-fil-a employees, because they need to get them here asap. This whole location is trash. Just give up and quit if you hate your job and your life."

"Go ahead and just shut this place down. Like seriously, I get short staffed and tip very generously because I feel bad for it usually just being the two of them. But don’t give me this mess about being short staffed when I literally made my order online and saw you service 5 vehicles through the drive through before you even started working on my order. We watched through the window! This is absolutely ridiculous and then come out to my car talking about being “short staffed and that’s no excuse”. It’s no excuse that you do not make my order in line with the others simply because you don’t want to walk out the door to hand me my order."

"Sonic on South 7 is not the place to go to. Put service, I think there's only 1 kid working there. After 5 minutes of sitting at the window after paying for my mozzarella sticks and cheddar bites, the lid tells me, "Oh yeah, I forgot we are out of mozzarella sticks. Then, he offers something else. So I just get something else. I know covid did this, and things are not the same, and blah blah blah. If you're out of something , then you're out of something. The kid is to blame for the experience part he can control, but these businesses need to quit blaming covid and staff the business for success. You can tell the difference between employees who are valued at a business versus those who are there because the light is on and they are trying to catch the shadows."
