"My daughter, granddaughter and I went prom shopping this past weekend, excited for the experience. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. Not only were we not greeted by the woman at the front entrance, but not one associate spoke to us or acknowledged our presence in the store. "Yesterday afternoon, I walked into the Oak Park Mall internally panicking. I didn’t secure a dress for the Governor’s Inauguration Ball. It was 1p and I needed to buy a dress no later than 2:15 to be able to return home and get ready. My saving grace was the staff at Carmen La Vie! I came in, told the staff what worked for my body, and we all got to work finding me something for the night. I felt instant relief because I knew I was good hands. Special shout out to Valeria! She asked me a handful of questions and we were able to find this dress. I received compliments all night! No one believed that a few hours prior I had no idea what I would wear. Thank you all so much for your help. I couldn’t recommend Carmen La Vie anymore than I was last night. I was by name praising Valeria and singing her praises along with all the staff."
