"I stumbled upon anchor Island and it is the best coffee and food with the most relaxing atmosphere! I love the free- hearted Southern California vibe! I walked in and felt like I just walked into a sunny Southern California beach cafe, A bit of therapy after a dark, cold KC winter! The chillaqulles and breve latte were delicious! The best way to start a day!"

"Someone told my better half about this place, so we went to check it out. I was really pleased with everything!! I asked for suggestions on a coffee, and the barista suggested something. I told her that would be fine. Then I picked the Verde Chicken off the menu. The coffee was amazing! I wish I could remember the name of it. I will attach a picture, because it was really pretty. I even got a second one to go! The Verde chicken was really good! It was not very spicy, and had great flavor! The mango chutney made it hit different areas of the palate and was very enjoyable! When I went to order my second coffee to go, I stood at the counter and visited with the barista for a minute and learned a little about the place. Then the owner delivered my coffee and told us thank you for coming in. We will 100% be going back. Also, they have a little sliding window, and give a pup cup to people with their dogs! We saw a dog get one, and he was dancing as they handed it out the window! So cute!"
