"A couple of days ago I decided to rehome my fish. I went to Petco in Tigard where I have shopped many times before. My favorite employee there Tara helped me instead I came home with a new aquarium with everything to set it up. I want people to know Tara went above and beyond what is expected of an employee. I am physically limited in what I can do nor did I know how to set this up. Tara came to my house after work and set this up for me. I am so greatful there are people like Tara in our world. "We bring our Bernese mountain dog here to the self wash every few weeks. I recommend it. It's well kept, people are friendly, and it's a fair price. Would have been 5 star but staff is so over worked here. Checking out is slow because the cashier, along with cashiering, has to pull the online orders, walk customers to the bathroom to let them in, wash the pet tubs... the list is long. Might be why the manager is unpleasant."
"I wanted to wait a week to write a review for a live animal purchase (just in case) Shout out to Tara, the lead pet care associate. She is super sweet. and knowledgable. (September 3rd) I went in and chatted with her about how I wanted a bearded dragon, she asked me questions, and I followed up with what I knew. She really knew her beardies which put me at ease because the specific one I saw/fell in love with prior was her favorite and choice if she had to take one. I'm glad that he got to be out/handled in his time there. It means petco, though it may be small does have time to focus it's attention to the care of it's animals. I had gone to petsmart, and there bearded dragons didnt look as well. After I held him and mulled over buying a kit vs a tank (labor day sale) she left for the evening. The other associates helped me. He is doing well! They will be seeing more of me and Potato in the future!"
