"Dolphin D-4 or should we call it casa de roaches. Now that the new name is settled, let me tell you the good, the bad and the ugly. The good - nothing that I saw. The bad - dirty, terrible beds, poorly washed dishes. The ugly - There are cockroaches and probably mice! So we got to the place late at about 7. When we arrived, we checked it all out like we always do. The carpet in one room had debris all over it. The walls were dirty, some smashed bugs on the walls and the beds were terrible. That wasn't enough to make us run until we saw the cockroaches crawling on the walls. Just a few at first then more and more the later it got. After about 30 minutes of seeing the first ones and continuing to see more we decided we didn't want to stay there. I reached out to Vacasa and they gave the old “oh we are sorry for the inconvenience and it's not what you expected”. They said we have reached out to the local person and are waiting for their response. I told them we had left and wanted our money back. They said they would let them know all that. I had to keep reaching out to them until the next morning and finally got a message from them saying the local person said the beds were slept in, the kitchen and bathroom were used and there was no sign of cockroaches so they wouldn't refund us. I told them we left and never slept in the beds but we did check the beds to make sure there were no bugs and before we saw the roaches we ate our leftovers that we had and we used the bathroom because we were there for 2 hours. I also told them cockroaches are nocturnal so obviously she wouldn't see any at 11 in the afternoon. I asked for the number of the local person so that I could talk to her and they refused. I then asked for them to have her call me and still haven't gotten a call. These back and forths went on for two days with them continuing to act like nothing was wrong with the place even with all the pictures I had taken and sent to them. The place also must have mice since there is mouse poison behind the fridge. I did finally get most of my money back but not because they admitted to the place being overrun with roaches but because Airbnb finally gave it back. I will never be renting a Vacasa rental again not just was the place horrible, their customer service is horrendous!"

"The room was noticeably infested with cockroaches. Left after 2 hours due to the bugs and the appearance of the room. Room in real life was not at all what appeared to be represented in advertisements. Had to go home and wash everything due to not wanting to bring any infestations home. Vacasa has not been at all responsive to our concerns!"

"From the outset this looks like an amazing place, unless you’d like to order food that is! We entered through a main door which had no signage about tables, we found a table without reserve on it in the aircon, then we queued to order our food, only to be told that the table we were on we had to order at the bar. We go to the bar to be told we need order at the counter we had just been at!!!! Then a staff member says we can’t order food at the table we were on, it was getting ridiculous! At last we spoke to a team leader who said she would allow us to order chips or kids meals! More ridiculousness! After further discussion she agreed we could order burgers from the menu. The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing at this pub! What a ruined, anxiety driven and stressful time we had here. At last when the food arrived we had one very dry burger and my steak sandwich had no steak in it so it had to go back to the kitchen. Great place to take the kids and have a drink, trying to get a table and order food is an absolute nightmare."

"It was a cute lil condo, and I got it for a steal of a deal. There was just a couple of issues that are easily corrected. The cooking supplies was terrible and needed to be replaces. The pans were all scratched up and sone of the dishes were chipped. They had a few cooking utensils but no cutting board or turner. All the dishes were dirty and greasy, and I had to wash them before use. You can tell the old maintenance person mickey moused repairs. The place was fairly clean, but they missed under the furniture. Loved the doggie supplies, the amenities supplied were plentiful. Great selection for bathroom amenities. They turned the heat off so the place was freezing cold and took forever to get warm. When I called the help line, I about lost it when they told me heat was not an amenity. They finally scheduled a maintenance person to come check on stuff. He was amazing. Not only fixed the heat, he replaced all the broken plates and switches. Can't wait to see how he fixes the past repair guys repair jobs. I will come back just because of him. The view from our porch was beautiful. Book the dolphin condos! Could never get internet connection even though we were next to the office. The place was quiet and it was a wonderful time!"

"The room was mostly clean, and the location is ok. We had a couple towels that were dirty. The path to the beach is down several staircases and two steep streets. When we got to the room, it hardly looked like the photos. The black and white chair, the night stand with lamp, and the bedspread were absent. The bed was absolutely awful. The sliding door doesn't lock, had to use the bar lock to do so, thank goodness that was still there. There was no screen in the window. The curtains are definitely not big enough for the window, and they are so sheer they offer no privacy. The walls are thin, can hear everything around you. There was damage to the walls in the bathroom and the main studio area. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Fireplace wasn't working, which wasn't the biggest deal, but still super annoying. Very run down and poorly kept. Definitely spent as little time as we could in here, will not be staying at this location again."
