Ester Lee Motel 3803 Southeast Highway 101, Lincoln City, OR 97367

"I’ve never stayed here before, so I did some research on Ester Lee before booking a stay. I will admit, I was very hesitant to book based on some of the Google reviews I read, but decided to take a gamble. It turned out to be a great choice! I booked a two bedroom ocean view cottage for my family of four and our dog. We went in with the expectation that it was not going to be a fancy place, because it isn’t. You can tell it’s been around a while. However, our room did not disappoint! The view was stunning. Our cottage was nice and clean and had plenty of room for all of us. It was a beautiful weekend at the coast, but it did get cold at night and we did not feel cold in our room. The kitchen came stocked with basic essentials. It was super close to our favorite breakfast place Fathoms at the Inn at Spanish Head. There was an easy place for my dog to do her business. The beach access was also really convenient! Yes, it is a bit of a hill and the rocks you have to climb over to get to the sand are not so fun, but once you get there it makes the trek worth it! My only compliant would be that the WiFi is very weak and does not allow you to stream any kind of music or shows from our devices (at least in our experience). Bring games or puzzles to fill any down time. This is also the only place in Lincoln City I could find where you could leave your dog in a crate unattended in your room. Overall I would definitely go back to Ester Lee and stay again. Worth the price!"

"Our first stay at Ester Lee Motel and Cottages in Lincoln City was an absolute delight! We opted for the charming 2-bedroom cottage with a kitchen, and it exceeded all expectations. The old-school charm combined made for a cozy and comfortable retreat. The views of the Oregon coast were breathtaking, and despite having neighbors on either side, the tranquility was undisturbed. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist us with any queries or needs. With plenty of local activities nearby, we found ourselves immersed in the beauty of the surroundings during the day and enjoying fun-filled evenings gathered around the dining table playing games. Not to mention, the price was a pleasant surprise, offering exceptional value compared to other accommodations in the area. Our experience at Ester Lee Motel and Cottages was nothing short of incredible, and we're already planning our return trip. Highly recommended for a memorable coastal getaway!"

"First it's old, like 1940s old so keep that in mind that there will always something needing attention. Simply just let them know and depending on what it is dont expect over night fix. Great view mostly functioning kitchen. Gas fireplace worked just looks like it needs some tlc. Shower sits low from it's 1940 design. But it has great pressure and it can get hot. Wifi didn't really work , so what didn't use it anyways. DVD player needed a little help the video cord is old. Unplug and replug, worked fine. Here during the winter. Use base board heater with gas fireplace and everything was warm especially after putting something to block the draft at the door. Been here twice , 2 different rooms. Love the views and the comfy feel. Just don't expect perfect or new. I have been recommending this place. And will come again when I can"

"This used to be one of my favorite places on the coast, but apparently the ownership changed hands since the last time I stayed and I will NEVER be staying here again. Not only did they fail to note I need a room on the ground floor due to a disability after promising to book me a specific room on the ground floor for specifically this reason, the room they reshuffled us to in a last minute scramble to keep their promise was without heat. The room was 57F when we checked in at 3pm and we finally gave up at 9pm when the temp dropped down to 56F after repeated requests for them to fix it were ignored. We drove over 2h back home the same night. Valentine and birthday celebrations completely ruined. A manager called me the next day promising a full refund within no more than 10 days. That was Feb 16 and I haven’t heard thing one from them. I finally filed a dispute with my credit card company instead. Do not give these people your business OR credit card number."

"DO NOT STAY HERE. We didn’t do our due diligence and read reviews beforehand. We had driven by many times and it looked retro-cute from hwy 101. Rooms are nothing like pictured online and VERY expensive for what they are. I even upgraded my room to a “Deluxe” cottage when i booked, and i think they just put us in what was available. Room was extremely run down and not in a charming way. kitchen” has no dishes and you wouldn’t want to eat anything here anyway. There’s no beautiful mid-century wood paneling or charming lighting or artwork. The bathroom is clean, but just not appealing at all, tiny shower. the woman at the front desk was friendly, welcoming and offered a refund when i returned to the office upset about the condition of the room. The view from the property is fantastic, beach access is good. I rated service 2 stars because they don’t provide room service. But the woman at the desk deserves 4-stars."
