"This was our first time staying at the Looking Glass Inn. The location was perfect and the hotel was really nice. We really liked being able to have our pups stay with us and the breakfast in the morning was a nice surprise. We will definatley stay here again."

"This was mine and the wife's third visit to the looking glass......All I can say is this is the best hotel at the beach for location and value! Rooms are always clean staff is always very friendly and welcoming! Great crabbing and salmon fishing when the fish are in however you may be battling the sea lions to get your fish in! I would recommend this place to everyone! If I could give 10 stars I would! Come stay and relax you won't be disappointed!!!!"

"Stayed there this weekend, in a whirlpool suite. Quiet atmosphere, view of the bay. Very clean rooms. Staff was very friendly. Taft area is my favorite place on the oregon coast. Highly recommend this inn. Walk across the street to beach access, Mos. Never disappoints"

"While I don’t want to promote it, this place is fantastic. All the fun of Lincoln City without the “downtown” crowds or congestion. Mo’s is literally across the parking lot, as is ample parking, an accommodating “baby beach” and a nice stretch of grass lined dunes for a hike, not to mention another overflow lot for State rec area. The Inn is family owned, not new but interior finishes are all tastefully upgraded. Amenities are nice! Crab cooking station, pet potty area with supplies, outdoor smoking area, fire pit, cookies in lobby at 5pm, continental breakfast with GOOD coffee each am. Staff is wonderful, John at front desk was warm, welcoming and efficient, room ready early. Welcome basket for pooches, you really can’t ask for more. Save your time by walking vs driving to the beach. Amazing for winter getaways with great rates. Fun and very popular area spring and summer. Blackout blinds keep Mo’s neon and parking lot lights out of your room. Garbage service am may disturb kiddos, sleep with windows closed and you’ll be fine. There’s guest laundry - young parents, I am talking to you! ;-) Taft is super historic - there’s a museum for nerds and grandparents. Hardware store nearby for fixes or batteries. All grocery is a little expensive at the beach, but nearby options are fair. Cute little pier in front of Mo’s for beautiful bay view pics and some crab and fish off of it. Get big chain hotel service from family-owned property well maintained to provide care and value for your family. Two queen room has small fridge, sink, microwave and coffee maker. Spend the extra and get 1 bedroom with full kitchen and make breakfast, lunch and snacks, then eat out for dinner - you’ll save enough for the nicer room. Back onto hwy #101 in "

"My wife and I really enjoy staying here. The rooms are nice and we can walk across the street to the beach. Our last visit we boarded our dogs and stayed in a whirlpool suite. We missed our dogs but really enjoyed the room. The whirlpool is nice. I was happy at how fast we could fill the whirlpool and how good the hot water was. We're always treated very nicely by the folks that work there. Teri always makes us feel welcome. We'll be back again soon."
