"I have nothing but praise for the treatment, expertise, and personnal interactions with both my physical therapist and the front-end manager during my 7 visits to Select PT (fka Ascent) this year. Please BEWARE, however, the clinic that was known as Ascent was bought out by a national chain called Select. While I was advised that my treatment would cost $100-$125 out-of-pocket due to my high-deductable plan, the Select central billing office ended up sending me bills with erratic random charges up to twice the original claimed expense. Varying charges for what was otherwise the same 45-minute PT session each visit. Despite being told by the front-office-manager during my visits as recent as August by the accounts manager to "disregard" the bill, with claims they'll take care of the mistaken charges, I continued to receive demands to pay the greatly inflated high billing amount. Meanwhile the billing department points the finger back to the local Select management, stating they were logging inaccurate billing codes during my treatment. Since August no one at the local Select PT office has been able to address my billing concerns and instead forwards my communication attempts back to the central billing. As of today I am having to fight with Collections over the disputed billing amount."

"Every visit I attend, the staff are professional and treat me very kindly. The facility itself is nothing fancy and not that desirable, but the staff create a warm and welcoming environment. I love my therapist, Ann, who is helping me with pelvic floor therapy. She has made me feel comfortable to talk about the dirty/icky symptoms that sometimes occur with pelvic floor dysfunction. Ann also allowed me and encouraged me to bring my husband, who used to be in the medical field in the military and can make some exercises easier for me at home when having a partner. I don't feel anxiety or panic when I am going for these types of appointments and that is a direct result of the WAY the staff makes me feel.
