"Do not book here - they do not adhere to their cancelation policy. Manager is rude and condescending and charged us for a stay that we never incurred despite cancelling well in advance. Front desk clerk advised cancelation would be processed and they never processed it then claimed they called and got confirmation we were checked into a hotel somewhere else. Manger threatened to not even question the employee that took the cancelation because I advised I would advertise on google the crooked behavior. Stay anywhere else. There are so many other choices with management willing to adhere to their policies. Now I get to fight this through my credit card."

"The person who works the front desk - Lindy, she is apparently the manager and she is extremely rude and judgmental. I was treated terrible at the desk. It is unfortunate that someone like her works at this place as she has zero customer service skills."

"My wife and I were to have stayed for two nights. Check-in was pleasant and the room was charming. That night we flicked a bug off the bed, which may have been a bed bug based on pictures after we looked it up. Next morning we let the office know about the bug. We weren't asking for a refund, weren't demanding anything free, and were even willing to pay the difference to move to another available room. The woman accused us of bringing in the bug ourselves, threatened to charge us the extermination fee, and kicked us out of the inn. After we packed up I turned in the keys. She warned me to lose the hostility. In her mind setting keys on the counter is hostile. My guess is she and the man standing next to her were hoping to goad me into anger so that the police would be called. Other reviews we've since read, here and on other platforms, backs that assumption up. Fortunately we were able to book a room down the street at our tried and true Best Western (and for $30 less!) While checking in we told of our experience, they said they hear that sort of thing a lot about Seaside Oceanfront Inn."

"Had the opportunity to stay at this adorable hotel this weekend. We stayed in the newly renovated Sand Dollar room and it was amazing! The tub was absolute heaven. It was a small cozy room with a fireplace, vaulted ceilings and a nice sized spa shower. Wendy, the manager was super helpful, friendly and welcoming. We can’t wait to stay here again."

"My husband and I along with our pup, stayed here for two nights last week September 2023 We loved our stay here. The staff was amazing and so accommodating. Our room had the most perfect view of the ocean. The hotel is in a perfect location on the beach and boardwalk and shops very close by. We ended up eating at the restaurant Maggie's that is located on the first level of the hotel. Beautiful outdoor seating, which also accommodated our pup as well. The food was so pretty and delicious! We ended up eating there our second night as well. This place is very charming and we highly recommend staying here. We for sure will be back soon!
