"Overall a nice stay. Pros: Friendly front desk staff, great location with a nice partial view, my room very quiet and clean. Cons: some simple updates would make a lot of difference. Toilet seat was worn down to the wood, front door and shower rod kind of a mess, and I haven’t seen a corded, touch tone phone since the 1990s… see pictures."

"This hotel was a well needed rest stop on our way down the coast. The rooms were neat and it felt as tho the cleaning staff took pride in their jobs going the extra mile to make it comfortable. The location was right on the water making the seaside views very nice. My only issue was a small mix up at check in which I felt could have been avoided but all in all a very good experience"

"We booked two nights at hi tide, not knowing what to expect beyond the location and amenities. Every hotel I have ever stayed in disappoints after finding out rules behind amenities, hi tide went far beyond the expectation! This hotel is incredible! When it comes to hotels, You hear pool, you get an ice box that closes at 8. Here, the pool is 90 degrees and like a giant hot tub, it's not too hot for kids, but perfect for adults as well as children. You hear continental breakfast, and you have to wake up early on your vacation. At hi tide, breakfast runs until 1030!!!! This should be the norm everywhere! Checkout is noon, so no rushing, the staff make you extremely comfortable, whereas other hotels, I have always felt like a burden or felt uncomfortable. We checked in with Amber, she made everything easy, Kaelee, and cala helped us with everything and were very patient with our kids. We ended up booking another night simply because of the comfort and the quality of everything here. Thank you hi tide, you guys are the best hotel on the coast."

"We had an amazing stay there. The price was one of the best in the area, they were truly pet friendly (and not just pet tolerant), and it was so easy to get to the beach from our room (and we only had an economy room). While simple the breakfast was very good, and the cookies in the evening were wonderful! Though we only had an economy room, it was much larger than we expected, we couldn’t hear our neighbors despite seeing them come in and out. There was no shortage or parking, and parking close to our room was very easy. Honestly we couldn’t be more pleased and are looking forward to our next stay."
