"I am so happy we found this daycare! My daughter loves going and has learned so much (including to use the potty!) that she'll be more than ready for kindergarten. The kids play outside as often as possible and there are fun special days she always looks forward to and talks about all the time. It's obvious Delynn loves the kids and what she does. I would highly recommend to any parent looking for quality childcare!"

"Our son started going to Delynn’s in-home care , Rugrats, after our infant care closed. It was an experience I’ll be forever grateful for. While I work in higher ed and value education and structure, when our son was younger than school-age, the most important qualities for us were: the development of his character, how he treated others, and that he could be in an environment that felt safe and didn't have flux in caregivers with whom he would bond. For three years, he built relationships with the kids here for the long-term (he's been in school- different from the ones his friends went to, for one year now, and he still has playdates and parties with some of the kids he met here), had to learn to resolve conflicts and work through differences. While working in these relationships, Delynn taught him foundational knowledge for school and physical awareness of his body. Last year, when he started at Santiam Christian, he felt confident and demonstrated competence in all of his schoolwork. His teacher would tell us that he could manage his emotions well, and acted very caringly toward other children. We are so thankful for the foundation that Delynn set for him in her childcare."

"Edit: I'm sad to find myself needing to edit this review at the end of our time at Rugrats Daycare and adjust it from five to two stars. It was very disappointing to learn that Delynn's skills with kids can be great, but her communication skills with parents are very limited. What I wish someone had told me when I enrolled my son in her care is that she may decide on short notice when kids don't fit in anymore, even if their behavior is very normal and age-appropriate. I naively thought that the negative review she received on Google regarding changing plans with parents on short notice wouldn't apply to my family. Unfortunately I've learned it's an important part of her business model, for which she is unapologetic. I'll leave the original post below so you can see how my opinion has changed over time and make an informed choice when enrolling in her care. Original post: I came across the website for Rugrats daycare when seeking a new provider for our toddler in 2020, and it seemed very promising. When I reached out to other parents about this daycare the reviews I got were excellent, and so we decided to enroll. I can say, we feel so fortunate that we found her daycare. Our child has learned great social skills, manners, preschool skills, and generally has a lot of fun! You can really see the care and commitment that Delynn has for the kids. Additionally, she has been very accommodating for my rotating work schedule and charges a very reasonable rate. We absolutely recommend her care."

"My child has been going here for about a year and absolutely loves it. Coming from a daycare center in a major metro area, we were a little apprehensive about in-home daycare. Delynn has been fantastic, understanding, and flexible whenever me or my wife's schedules have demanded changes in our child's daycare attendance. She only expects the basic courtesy of early notification. Delynn always schedules fun events for the kids and our child has made a lot of friends that she loves to tell us about upon pickup. Delynn's care has been great for my kid's educational and social development. Would highly recommend to anyone."
