"The food is amazing. I ordered a simple BLT and it was excellent. I saw plates going to other diners with delicious-looking breakfasts. This place is going to be a regular stop for sandwiches, burgers, and breakfasts. Was able to get a nice fast charge on my car (>120kW!) while eating, I thought it was going to be slow and took my time eating and came out to a fully-charged car. Couple of warnings about the charger. 1. card reader is broken and you have to use the app to start a charge, which requires internet. 2. I didn't have mobile service. Market has WiFi but if you get there when they are closed you have no way to get online to download the app. I recommended to the staff that they slap QR codes on the DCFC dispenser for the WiFi and the app in the play/app stores. 3. The app is janky, the setup process for a new account requires clicking links sent via email *and* SMS (not one or the other - both!). With mobile service not working.....yeah. Fortunately used a Google Voice number to be able to get a SMS over the market's WiFi. The whole app experience has that "I paid my sister's nephew $50 to code it" feel. Bottom line - if you are going to stop here install the app (OpConnect) and set up a payment account in advance, you won't waste half an hour dealing with getting WiFi, getting your account set up, and so on. I recommended to the staff in the market that they slap QR codes on the charger for the WiFi and the app."

"Seeing as I had stopped in to WEED, California for breakfast and seen the magnificent Mount Shasta for the first time it seemed like a beautiful "bookend" to stop into this food oasis in GRASS VALLEY after sighting Mount Hood to the west before I got into town. I wish I had known about this place when planning my route north and had read the glowing reports from people lucky enough to have eaten here. I would have sat down and indulged. What I can confirm is that the staff were very friendly, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, the shelves of wines looked tantalizing....and the kitchen smelled delicious. I have marked this unique little spot in my map book and shall time any future trips with enough time so sit down and EAT!!!!"

"A hidden gem! I had driven past this place dozens of times. From the outside it looks rather humble, like the rest of this town. But on the inside, I discovered a decently stocked grocery, an attentive deli, and lots of local history to explore. I plan to come back."

"Take the time to carve a path through Grass Valley and check out the Grass Valley Country Market, the country store with everything you could need and friendly, accommodating people! We barely made it before closing, and we are stoked we did! A very cool stop and another town knocked off of #thegreatoregonburgerbucketlist A very solid burger. Excellent meat, quality beef cooked well. Smokey bacon cooked to a slight crisp. I did add a little extra mayo from the condiment counter. Decent veggies. A very tasty bun, maybe fresh made? Buttered and toasted Excellent fries. Battered and tasty. Crispy on the outside and soft inside. Very tasty chicken. Fried well with a great blend of spices. Sliders were surprisingly different tasting than the regular cheeseburgers. The market itself is a very cool little spot. Has just about every food or drink category you could need, including liquor! Indoor and outdoor seating, and very friendly staff. Grass Valley is a charming little villa. Check it out the next time you're in the area"
