"Y'all get one star because most of your employees are really great people and the fried chicken is usually really good. After yesterday I'm not coming back again. I don't appreciate being talked down to and treated as if I don't have the money to pay for what I came into the store to purchase. I wanted deli sliced meats and cheese. I was directed to the pre packed sandwich meats and cheese. Then I was told that I don't want the deli sliced stuff because it costs $15 a pound. I know what I wanted and was made to feel like I wasn't worthy of it. If your employees in the deli aren't up to doing their job and would rather stand around running their mouths they should go work as some type motivational speaker. It's bad enough your prices are outrageous and your fresh fruits and vegetables rot in less than 24 of purchase but when you add the being treated like you're not worth the time of day to your employees you will eventually lose business and close your doors."

"I have been in your store 3 times in the last 5 nights, and every time I come in the checker "topher" has been working. His body odor is hits you in the face the second you walk in any of the two doors. With him being the only checker, it is unbearable to deal with. You feel as if you are being hit in the face by a semi at 100mph. Please have a conversation with your employees about personal hygiene. This is a grocery store, I've been in gyms, and trucker drivers rooms that smell better!!!!"

"Time to close? Yes I think so. Horrible customer service consistently. Outdated food and bare shelves. Dirty BBQ area and floors. Wrong orders at deli and rotten tomatoes and lettuce. Take your chances of getting sick and having to pay extra for it."

"I only go here if it’s an emergency. Otherwise, it’s worth going to any other store being that it will be significantly cheaper. What’s up with the manager specials? For example, for a 6 pack of beer with a manger special, it’s still a few bucks more expensive than the liquor store a block away, or any gas station/mini mart in talent. It’s not a special if you’re still the most expensive place in the valley. Literally, it’s insane. A 2 pack of paper towels for almost $7? Everything is extremely overpriced and it’s not like we are far out where it costs more to deliver products to this store. I feel like more people would actually get their groceries here if it was more reasonable. Generally everyone I see is getting only a couple items. No one really shops for all their needs here as it’d be throwing away money and other realistic stores aren’t very far away."

"Lived in talent for going on 3 years. I have to drive to the rays in phoenix to make sure i don't get sick shopping at the talent rays. Dozens of expired products, Bare shelves, horrible deli, coolers not at legal cold holding temps. In addition to the horror stories I have experienced and herd from customers, local suppliers have told me the buy backs from the talent Ray's have been time and temperature abused. To the point of mold on products weeks before the exp. date. I have pointed these blaring lawsuits wating to happen out to the general manager, "Norm"? On a bi-weelky basis for years on end. No results. I partly blame the district manager as well. As a purveor and food service professional, I am appalud at the lack of standards from one store to another. The phoenix ray's is a completely different store. They dont run out of staple items like milk, coleslaw, coca cola, butter, sour cream. I cant smell the deli before I see it, there isnt 6 month out of date canned seafood on the shelves. I watched Norm himself take frozen pizzas out of a cooler during a 3 for 10 dollar sale and place them in an endcap. No refregeration. At all. When I questioned him about it, he said- "its fine, we switch them out". I was floored. The GM of the store has no idea of basic food safety. Avoid this ray's at all cost folks. Youve got a 50/50 chance of serious food poisining just by shopping there. Don't do it."
