"☆Perhaps it's the sign of the times, maybe it's economic woes, whatever the cause or causes of out of control costs for food & other necessities, its becoming a challenge to put food on the table & as I shopped at Albertson's, located at Mckenzie Crossing Shopping Center in Springfield,Oregon I was also reminded of the price fluctuations encountered from one Store chain to another. The quality of the food from produce to the meat was very nice, yet it was obvious that prices were steeper on several items I generally Purchase: One item was over a $1.50 more than Walmart & 75 cents more than Safeway. I would rather have positive reviews & never a negative one. However, I have an obligation to write the truth as I see it, so here it is. If money isn't a concern for you or your family, Albertson's is a high-quality Super Market . *noteworthy: You can get prices to average out if you download their app, load up the digital coupons, then compare what you need to the sale prices, go to the checkout & scan your own food, bag it (because the chain made it so inconvenient to wait in the checker line) & hope the prices are correct. *If you are single with lots of spare time , it's not an issue ,however, if you are a normal family or a single parent working long hours & limited time with kids in tow, it's just impractical."
"I had been driving all over town looking for a sheet cake for a birthday, the same day, and it was graduation weekend too, so there were no cakes anywhere! One of the amazing ladies at the Albertsons bakery went above and beyond to help me find a cake that would work. She even took the time to decorate it for me and had it ready in time for the party. I am so grateful and beyond happy with the product and the cake was delicious. My daughter couldn’t believe they were able to put horses on it too! Moral of story: bakery staff is amazing! Highly recommend them!"
