Mattress Firm Lake Oswego

"Buyer beware! The salespeople are great, but Mattress Firm does not stand behind its warranty. I purchased a Simmons Beautyrest Black mattress from their Lake Oswego store about 2 years ago and loved it. Unfortunately, it couldn’t withstand a 30-minute move from Lake Oswego to Beaverton. It was perfectly fine the morning of the move. I told the movers it had to lay flat when moved, and even watched them put it in their truck. After they put it on the bed at my new house, it had body sized lumps in it that have never gone away. (See photos) My movers have moved over 10,000 mattresses and said they haven’t had a single problem like this with a mattress. They contacted the Mattress Firm store in Lake Oswego where I purchased it and were told the mattress shouldn’t do that and that it was covered by my 10-year warranty. I went into the store to figure out how to make a claim and they gave me instructions. Their automated-online process is arduous, and the system will drop your claim if you answer any questions incorrectly and you don’t have the opportunity to edit. It took me hours over several days to finally get to a person, who just blamed it on the moving company and abruptly closed my case. I kept at it and finally got to a manager who also just blamed the movers. I asked her to provide me with the moving protocol for these mattresses so they don’t void the warranty and she couldn’t provide me with that information. I told her the people at the store where I purchased it said it should be covered under my warranty and she told me they shouldn’t have said that and denied my claim. I went back to my mover who contacted the manager of the Mattress Firm Lake Oswego store, and he told my mover that it should absolutely be covered by the 10 year warranty and gave him the name and contact information of their Simmons rep, but after multiple attempts the rep has not responded. Mattress Firm has proven to not be an honorable company."
