Their knowledge of stains and the process of refurbishing have been time saving! There is always a smile and welcoming feel upon entering and a huge sigh of relief when the products are in hand."

"The pic is their old building. The new one across from Taco Bell and the car dealership is nice. The folks are friendly, patient, knowledgeable and helpful. I don't feel rushed. For my DIY projects, I can get all my questions answered and I know I am getting a product formulated for Oregon weather whether you are in Hillsboro, Bend or other. They go the extra mile. I brought my Sherwin Williams paint bucket and voila. Got the color I needed to match what the painter did 2 yrs ago and it matches my new shed too. =]"

"Locally owned paint store with a good selection of paint, stain and painting equipment. A rather standard description of a business, but this is why I'm giving them 5 stars (which I have never done on any review): As my wife and I waited for the gentleman behind the counter to help both a husband and wife asking questions about dropping off used paint and a single woman of a certain age needing advice on the type of stain she should use for a wooden deck, the store phone rang. The gentleman (I believe his name was Randy) picked up the phone and politely asked the caller to hold. He helped the couple for two or three minutes. Then he started helping the woman. After answering her first question, he picked up the phone and apologized to the caller for the delay. He offered to keep the caller on hold and help them as soon as possible or to call the person back. It is a small thing to be sure, but in the modern world of retail sales, 99.5% of the time, a customer put on hold will languish there until they give up and end the call. Randy was handling multiple customers but remembered he had someone on the phone and made sure that that person was acknowledged. That type of service should always be lauded."
