"I went here for my first father/son haircut with my 4 year old son today. My last stylist had been shut down since pandemic and sadly never reopened. Looking like absolutely wild men, I got a wild hair and decided to try and get in a walk in trim for us. The owner and his son were fantastic. They welcomed us in as if we were old friends. They did a fantastic job with my young son, who refused to sit still. I watched as a few regulars filtered in and out and listened to the entertaining conversations that ensued. As my haircut began the conversations never ended. They could talk to you about anything under the sun on your comfort level. They’re extremely passionate, caring, and professional. All said and done, I paid an extremely moderate price for two phenomenal haircuts!"
"When rating somewhere we must ask if we would return. I enjoy that I do my best to shop local, buy local, support mom and pop stores and avoid corporate owned franchises while putting more of my money directly into other peoples hands... Would I return? No. I think this was the longest haircut I’ve ever had; not kidding. Not impressed and I can spend a little $$ at a loss to myself knowing where not to go. I gladly left after handing over a $20 just to expedite the process of me leaving quicker. FYI- $17 haircut Seniors: $13 12 and under $12 Beard trim: $7 I’m a man, I like short on the side and a little taller on the top. It took longer to get this done here than it takes me to cut both of my boys’ hair at home. Lesson learned. 2 stars because I left alive and my hair was cut... Guess I’ll keep searching... maybe I’ll drive to Corvallis and go to Mel’s, he is quick and does a damn fine job."
