"Do yourself a favor and call Malinda the next time you need anything done to your hair (especially a color project). I was in her chair for 6.5 hours, going from a natural dark brown to platinum gray balayage. Every moment was easy and comfortable, and she took her time threading out my extremely fine hair to make sure that it wouldn't be damaged in the process. She even let me order lunch during the appt and eat as she worked! Highly professional, I could not be more pleased with the way my hair looks and feels. I have extremely soft hair, and was worried that bleaching would damage it severely. But because of Malinda's commitment to taking care of her client's natural hair health, it feels just as soft as it always does. Malinda understood exactly what I was asking for, and delivered completely. Her services are very reasonably priced for the amount of expertise, experience, and care she puts into her work. For example, my project (which involved over 4 hours of her delicately threading out my hair to bleach) was only $140, and was designed to grow out and last all year long. I've spent closer to $200 at other professional salons for similar projects. Sure, at another basic hair place I could have had it done for $80, but then I would have been in Malinda's chair for a color correction anyway. Our appt was scheduled to last 4 hours, and I cleared my day in advance on a just-in-case recommendation. Because of the complexity of the project, she ended up taking 6.5 hours, and she didn't charge me a single cent over our original agreed upon price for all that extra work and product! For those at home who want the math with that, that works out to approximately $70-100 of free work if it was broken down by an hourly rate. All because she wanted to make sure I had beautiful and healthy hair. If you want your hair done right, Malinda is the right choice. She listens to you and creates beautiful work. She's professional, engaging, a great conversationalist and artist. Most importantly, she really does care about her clients and their health. I will be choosing Malinda every single time from now on. You should too."
