"The owner cut my hair. She did a reasonable job. As far as I can tell right now I will probably go back to her again next month. She is very personable & listened to what I wanted done."

"My first haircut while living in Oregon! This was just around the corner from my neighborhood so I figure I’d give it a try. I scheduled an appointment and was told who would be giving my haircut. My usual cut has the sides and back shaved with the top trimmed. That’s what I asked for. She spent less than 15 minutes on my hair and barely bothered to clean up the shave job. She didn’t do anything more than a quick glance before deeming me finished. When I got home, I could see just how sloppy that shave was especially around my ears, with plenty of stray long hairs that anyone should’ve caught both on the shave and the trim. Everyone else I’ve seen before moving for a cut has gotten the style done to my expectations and spent the time needed to make sure it was all tidy. I’m not a sheep being sheared, I’m paying for a haircut. My roommate is going to tidy it up for me (she’s so sweet). Unless you have longer hair and just need a trim, I wouldn’t recommend this place for a cut."

"The owner butchered my hair. I went in for a simple cut with layers. At first there were no layers at all. She added layers... but now chunks of my hair are either missing (like around my ears) or completely squared off and there are some parts that are longer than everything like little “rat tails”. I went back the next day to ask for a refund and was yelled at, and told she doesn’t give refunds, even after she admitted that she should not have cut it the way she did, and that she definitely messed it up, but it’s my problem not hers. (And no, I was not rude during any of the encounters. I work in customer service and make it a point to be courteous to everyone, because I know what it’s like. But looking back she made remarks about my hair colors (which I normally pay no attention to bc I get that kind of thing a lot) but it seems that it was more than just not liking that I have unnatural hair colors.)"

"I have been going here for the last 12 years. Karen is amazing and knows exactly what i want and nails it each time. The salon is inviting and comfortable along with the employees. If you want a great cut or color or any of the services then this is where to go."
