"Seems like a really nice place! They always have very lovely clothes there. My only complaint is that I wish they carried just a little more for bigger women, but it's certainly not bad! They've always been very kind when I've gone- and I'm fairly used to people judging me when I enter a store: I'm fairly large for a woman and rather tomboyish, so walking into a nice store with pretty clothes often gets me a lot of weird stares. Not here though! They were always very sweet to me, and I am always happy to visit the store. Can't wait to have a little extra income to get something nice! I would advise ignoring the previous negative reviews. Thieves come in all shapes and sizes, and if you're acting like a thief and get defensive when people act cautious about you, then you're not making your case look any better. Homeless people are not always thieves, and thieves are not always homeless. How cruel to say such things..."

"I was incredibly disappointed with my experience at Olivia’s in Salem. I brought my daughter to Salem with a friend to celebrate a birthday and do some shopping. We had some glasses we received as a gift at a location before we entered Olivia’s. I felt uncomfortable carrying the glasses entering into the location and quietly asked my daughter for her glass so I could place my glass and hers into my purse. The store was empty and super quiet so I whispered. After that, the staff starting following us around and treated us like we were thieves. I was so disgusted and appalled. I was trying to be respectful and was being treated like a criminal. We had intended to purchased some high priced items, but after being followed like a thief decided to purchase our items there and will go to Nordstrom’s in Portland where we are treated with respect. The staff was so condescending and rude. I understand there is an issue with theft regarding the homeless issue in Salem. I however do not fall into this category and if they looked twice could tell by the way I was dressed. Look at your surveillance video and you can see I was trying to be respectful and put away my personal belongings. I WILL NEVER shop at this location and WILL NEVER endorse your store in any regards other than judgmental, rude and unwelcoming. I would rather spend my money at Anthropologie, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and many other local boutiques in Portland who do not treat high paying customers like trash."
