"Brought a car in here for a used car inspection. The price tag (which is well below average, I've just never done something like this before) scared me at first, but I decided to go for it and I'm SO glad I did. I got a call back an hour after I dropped it off and the man (didn't catch his name but he had a white beard) was very knowledgeable and upfront with me. He provided an estimate for the repairs and told me flat out that it wasn't worth what it was being sold for and I shouldn't buy it. It was exactly what I wanted. All the reviews are true, this is not the kind of place that will take advantage of women and/or people who are obviously inexperienced with cars. I highly recommend it"

"What a wonderful experience! First contacted D & B for a second opinion on a quote from another shop, (so I'm not a regular customer, just a random phone call). They spent more than an hour going back and forth with me, detailing all costs and letting me know something just doesn't add up, and their quote for the same service was about $800 dollars less. I was already convinced to go there by their customer service but the price couldn't be beat. They got me in the shop the same week (during a 3 digit heatwave!!) took me on a drive to make sure they understood the noise I was hearing, and then went on to inspect my car fully. Called me later to tell me what the other shop found was in fact NOT broken, told me two DIFFERENT things that needed to be fixed at some point in the future and then sent me on my way. I have to be clear that I did not pay a single penny for all of this AND they wouldn't accept a tip because "its our job to take care of you". WOW. Im a lifetime customer now, and you should be too!"
