"Twice in the last year I have had batteries die (different vehicles) an been stranded. Called MAC battery and they sent someone with a hand held starter and jumped my car. Drove my vehicle to there shop and got replacements. The last time it was one of there batteries so they discounted the replacement even though it was a few years old and recommended I have the charging system checked because it wasn't sending enough amps to the battery"

"I was quoted $225 ($175 for a new battery and $50 for install) from Les Schwab for my standard 4 door sedan, and there was a two hour wait. $225 seemed expensive. I went to Mac’s battery, drove right into the bay, and pulled out with a new battery installed 25 minutes later. Total cost was $122. Looks like he cleaned up all the contact terminals/battery seating plate/cloth battery wrap etc as well. They did a total job, not just a battery swap. This place was recommended to me by my dad, and he would know. They’ve been selling and installing batteries for 40 years!!!"
