Suburban Studios Port Arthur

"Location is good, about 4 minutes from most of your big brand stores. The room is adequate for my needs with a small kitchen. The only complaints I have are that the blackout curtains don't close in my room, and the bed is so firm that I might as well be sleeping on the floor, and the pillows aren't great. I have a week left here, so I might pick up my own pillow."

"Love the quality of the room for the price it's 40 bucks more then studio 6 and a lot nicer. It doesn't have a pool and the elevator isn't working properly so I'm taking a star away from that but I loved the room. Not many dishes but it's okay for a couple. And the wifi works here at least it didn't at the other place."

"Out of all the hotels in Port Arthur (especially if you are looking for one with a kitchen and weekly rate) this is the ONE to stay at. I have been staying at this hotel for almost a year while here on a project. I have stayed in many hotels across the country and overseas. This one is one of the very best. For many reasons but the top reasons are the Manager (VJ) and staff are amazing. They are so kind and helpful. The cleaning staff is super sweet and go above and beyond. The rooms are spacious and have a kitchenette. I have never had any issues whatsoever with the cable or internet. It is in a great location. It is cheaper than all the others for the weekly rate and cleaner than all the others that are here. I've not once had any issues with noise or disruptive tenants. The Manager (VJ) is the best out of every hotel I've ever stayed at. He is so kind and helpful. Is it a 5 star hotel? No. It's not even a 4 star. But I have stayed in some and they are much nicer and more accommodating. I don't give many reviews but I felt the need to give one here. They have literally treated me like family. My daughter was run over and had to come stay with me and go to wound care and they helped her when I was at work. She stayed with me for 5 months during her healing process and they treated her like she was family too. I will always be grateful to them for their outstanding customer service and care for their tenants."

"I didn't stay there, my in laws are. Overall it looks decent. Need some housekeeping outside, cigarette butts everywhere and there's a smell when you 1st walk in. The staff are cool."

"Lots of work going on here but it's a super nice place and VJ is a super manager. He is caring and knows his business. The whole staff smile and say good morning and hello. The desk girl was very sweet and I would suggest anyone to stay here."
