"Came by the other day for lunch while moving. The food was the best bbq I’ve had in awhile! The chicken, ribs, beans, and Cole slaw were so delicious. I even got a blackberry pie to finish off the meal. The ladies there were so nice and made this experience even better than it already was! Even if you are passing by town, definitely stop here!!"
"When I go here I always get the ribs and they never let me down!! I also get the same sides and as you can see they give you a lot! Such a comfort food!! The ladies that work there, always have a smile on their faces and are very polite!! This is my favorite restaurant in town!! Who don’t love a southern dish?!?!! The prices are a bit high but for what you’re getting g I think it’s worth it!!!! Let me know what you think the next time you visit!!"
"I’m quite fond of BBQ so I was excited to try Smitty’s. There is something on their menu for most people. Our table ordered sliced lean brisket, smoked turkey, and smoked sausage as meats. Our sides were green beans (best I’ve ever had), potato salad, dirty rice, and roasted potatoes. The green beans and roasted potatoes were great. The other sides were good. We ate inside at 6:00 pm. I’m not sure if it was the time or not, but the brisket was very dry. The flavor was okay, but it was just too dry. We ordered at the counter and there was no wait for our food. I’m hoping this is an isolated incident so I will give it another shot if I’m in the area."
