"The baked beans that they claimed to be homemade tasted like they came straight out of the can with nothing extra added to them. The "hot" links had good flavor, but weren't spicy enough. The sliced brisket was perfectly cooked and the sauce was a perfect match with it. The potato salad was made with sweet relish and was pretty good. Billy came out to introduce himself and was friendly...his wife's a little quirky, but friendly enough."

"Had I not been recommended to Billy's by a local Jasper resident. I probably would have never found it or even known it was open for business. The place won't win any awards for how nice it looks outside or inside. But I bet they would be in the running for top prize on the food they put out. I ordered the sliced brisket sandwich. It was huge and ohh so tasty. It had probably near or over a pound of meat in it. The potato salad was made with more mustard than my liking. The next day talking to locals they say the Rib sandwich is the secret menu item to order. I look forward to trying that on my next visit."
