"I'm in Louisiana for a short stop for a friend's wedding and honestly this is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life. Everything is fresh made. The Jalapeño mayo is godly I love how homey it feels. Drinks are well priced and food is very well priced. I highly recommend coming here if you're in the Lake Charles area. Loved my bartender too"

"After being beaten up by I-10 for a couple of hours, we decided to stop in. The bar was completely full at 4pm on a Tuesday, and the parking lot was already almost full. I can only imagine what it's like on a weekend. My husband was craving shrimp and crab, but they were unfortunately out of crab :( He enjoyed his shrimp and sausage, though. I got the Darrell's Special Poboy, and it was pretty good! Very very messy, but good. The turtle cheesecake was yummy, as well."
