"Christa is the BEST! And the food here is.. amazing! Stopped here during our road trip and what a TREAT! The grilled blackened catfish is delicious (recommended by Christa!), and everything else that we had couldn’t have been better! Very happy with this place and, again, Christa is the best! "Mannnn! The food was so good. I put myself in a food coma. I'm tellin ya I had the itis. The fish, chicken,hush puppies, fried okra, Mac and cheese, giant jumbo shrimp, hell, it was all fantastic. It's great to be down south again. The service was all so pleasant. I hope this place will be here for many more years to come."
"The food was incredibly delicious! From the French fries to the fried shrimp, down to the hushpuppies. Everything was seasoned well and the food came out hot and fresh! We were driving through from out of town but I would make a point to stop again if given a chance. You have to eat at Sam’s, and ask to be seated in Kris’s section. She was awesome!"
"We eat here pretty often. I always get a Philly steak & cheese. Usually it has twice the meat and it use to be inexpensive but the price of it has gone up to $11.99. It is still worth it! The 'good' onion rings taste like a bloom'in onion, make sure to specify 'good' onion rings when ordering. My wife loves their salads, liver & gizzrds, & macaroni bites from the appetizer menu. The restaurant is usually very clean & well kept. Definitely worth visiting especially when you get great waitresses like Jessica, who is very attentive and cheerful."
"This is a great restaurant for the entire family! The food is fresh, the desserts are delicious homemade goods, and the portions are massive. I was so engaged with the decor that I forgot to take pictures of my food. When I checked out the first time, they told me that I would be back. They were telling the truth. I went back two days later. The first time, I ordered seafood quesadillas. The second time, I ordered a shrimp platter. Both dishes were delicious! The employees were amazing -- just good people!! This restaurant has a lot of fried dishes, but it didn't reek of fried grease. The first time I went, it was near closing time. Watching them clean up boosted my confidence in the quality of the restaurant. They cleaned the restaurant like they wanted it to be as clean as their homes. It's worth your money! Be ready to share!"
