"Dr. Ramsell is the best vet we have ever had for our ferrets. She saved the life of our sweet baby girl. Going above and beyond to save her. We can never thank her enough."

"I will continue to make the drive and take my rabbit there. They were very thorough with her exam and knowledgeable with rabbits; it's been rare to find a vet who does more than a quick glance at rabbits and sends them on their way. It was also nice to get a revisit on food etiquette with her so she's now on a diet and getting healthier."

"I don’t know where to start, besides with these guys are the ABSOLUTE best. The ladies up front are so sweet and helpful, and Dr. Katrina Ramsell is truly the most caring, wonderful, best vet I could’ve ever hoped my sweet little babies (ferrets) could see. Each time they come I know that they are in the best hands possible and will be treated as if they were their own. They have no doubt saved many of my babies, multiple times. They also handle the tragic part and provide a wonderful option for cremation care post life. They provide me with all of the information needed to ensure my babies are their healthiest, such as detailed lab results and explanations, and carefully kept records. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the wonderful people at this vet, and I have been seeing them for about 8 years now. I love them all and highly encourage taking ferrets and other small creatures here!!"

"I always take my 2 ferrets and a 4.5ft snake here and they always take such great care of them. Extremely understanding, they hear you out with any concerns. Don't be afraid to ask dumb questions, they'll explain everything to you. They will give recommendations but never force or try to sell you on something, they let you always be the decider for your own animals. If you have exotics, take them here, there's no one better, safer or really worth going to for that matter."

"My panther chameleon came down with an eye infection which I thought was an isolated issue so I made an appointment with Dr. Burgess and his staff. Appointments had a two week wait time which was unfortunate, but the receptionist mentioned that we can potentially bring my pet in on an emergency basis if he started to decline rapidly. However, this ended up not being necessary so I stuck with our originally scheduled appointment. Upon arrival the receptionist had me fill out some standard forms and gave me a very densely packed fact sheet about chameleon care and best practices (presumably authored by Dr. Burgess and his team) which I found to be incredibly informative. The appointment was relatively quick and Dr. Burgess spoke with me at length (30+ mins) about my pet’s condition and correlated the eye issue with mistakes I had been making in the chameleon’s housing and diet. When researching veterinarians in the area, I saw some reviews that remarked/derided the length of these conversations, but I can only conclude that the value of Dr. Burgess’s knowledge and efforts was simply not recognized by these other reviewers. Dr. Burgess was clearly a very intelligent vet with an astounding depth of knowledge in chameleon care, nutrition, and scientific research. Ultimately, Dr. Burgess explained that the eye infection is most likely being caused by an environment that was too cold and nutritional deficiencies. He prescribed an antibiotic ointment for the eye to clear up the bacterial infection and provided clear instructions and information for remedying the other issues to prevent future illness. A minor detail that I noticed when I received my chameleon back was that Dr. Burgess and his team took the time to remove some lingering shed on the chameleon’s snout and head which was unexpected but spoke volumes about the quality of service this team provided. Upon arriving home, I made the necessary adjustments to the chameleon’s cage and diet and it seemed like he bounced back overnight. The chameleon regained his full appetite and became much more energetic, and he underwent a full shed about a week later. However, the eye infection took a few days to resolve and was a bit stubborn, so I gave them a call to follow up and Dr. Burgess quickly prescribed an additional oral antibiotic just to be safe. What you should take away from my review is that Dr. Burgess is a veterinarian that knows what he is talking about when it comes to chameleons. In my opinion, many vets would have examined the eye and prescribed the antibiotic, but I highly doubt that they would have performed an in-depth root-cause analysis the way Dr. Burgess did for my pet. That is a rare and valuable skill, and I highly recommend Dr. Burgess and his team if you have a sick chameleon as a result."
