About the Business

Located at 3518 Southwest Multnomah Boulevard in Portland, Oregon, the Multnomah French Quarter is a unique institution that combines the charm of a small French village with the vibrant energy of a bustling community hub. Founded by native Frenchman Yves Le Meitour, the French Quarter offers a variety of experiences for visitors, including an art gallery, bar, cafe, food options, home goods store, restaurant, and boutique shops.

Yves' vision was to create a village square where people could come together to eat, shop, relax, and enjoy the company of others. With the help of his daughter Sara, the French Quarter was brought to life with authentic storefronts, street lamps, and a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the spirit of a traditional French town.

One of the unique aspects of the French Quarter is its commitment to diversity and inclusion. The majority of businesses in the village are owned and operated by women, and there is a representation of at least five different nationalities. This diversity adds to the vibrant and dynamic energy of the community.

Visitors to the French Quarter can enjoy delicious food from food carts, shop for unique and handmade goods at boutique shops, and connect with others in a warm and inviting environment. Whether you're looking to relax with a cup of coffee, explore local art, or enjoy a meal with friends, the French Quarter offers something for everyone.

Overall, the Multnomah French Quarter is a welcoming and inclusive space that was created by a family for families. It's the perfect place to experience the beauty and charm of a French village right in the heart of Portland. Come visit and enjoy the good fall vibes at the French Quarter today!

"Only place open was the mexican food spot! Ordered a breakfast burrito and devoured that. Good service and good food. Only reason we are giving this place a 2 is because it would have been nice for them to list which places open at 10 am."

"Cool and unique place. It’s a food cart pod that has a small indoor shopping area with a few boutiques. This place was designed by a French immigrant that wanted to recreate a slice of his French village in SW Portland."

"Went here to check out the sushi place. The place had multiple food carts with a craft beer on the tap. There are different cuisines here Thai, Indian, Sushi, Mexican. We tried the Indian place and it was great. There is indoor and outdoor seating as well. There are restrooms. Free two hour parking on the street and parking behind the back as well. The close between 14:00-16:00. Overall a look location with plenty of variety. Would highly recommend to pay a visit."
