"Very nice hotel perfectly located in downtown Astoria. Great rooftop patio, nice wine bar and breakfast area in the lobby. Skipped breakfast to meet family nearby, but it looked pretty decent. I would certainly return."

"I thought it was really cool staying in an old hotel. Greatly enjoyed it. Read some negative reviews and I believe those people aren't happy anywhere. I loved the newspaper at my door in the morning. Thanks. Doug"

"Gaye and the front desk reception were very kind and understanding in helping me find a room to accommodate my needs. The breakfast is good and they will work with you the best they can. Also very knowledgeable about events and things to do in the area. Highly recommend staying here!"

"The rooms are quaint and clean. It was a bit difficult to have a good night rest because of the noisy air-conditioning units in the rooms. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I had very small issues with my room that were corrected with speed and urgency. The rooftop area is a must see. Highly recommend this hotel for location and cleanliness."

"The hotel has some nice reviews, and this is intended to be the same. I have stayed at many 3, 4 and 5 star hotels, and this is clearly not a 4 or 5 star as some reviews indicate. It does not have parking, a doorman and room service and the rooms are very small. Everything appeared to be clean and the location is great. The front desk people were 3 star, and the wine lady was the best. Would we stay again? Not so sure, but if we decided it truly is the best place in town, then yes. Rates were high, perhaps reflecting lack of competition in this price category. We booked the first three using credit card points and they refused to honor that same rate for the fourth night. Not a smart policy."
