Classic Collision

"Getting into a car accident is already stressful enough but Classic Collision made the experience 10x more difficult than it needed to be. They were quick with initial repairs and the staff was kind which are 2 positives I can point out. After repairs I picked up my 2022 vehicle that got into a rear-end collision and noticed scratches, debris under paint, my rear wiper was upside down, a sensor fell out within a day, and screws were loose near my tires. I took the vehicle back and they corrected it. I thought my car was fixed until a few months later I was rear ended again and took my car to a new shop because of my previous negative experience with Classic. The damage was minimal this time and the new shop noticed mold growth, poorly welded areas, and holes where there shouldn’t be. This was not caused by the 2nd, very minor accident. Classic eventually took fault and management shocked me with how quick they paid for the damages. Overall I can say I wish I would’ve avoided Classic Collision from the start. So much energy was wasted trying to get my car repaired from their faulty repairs not once, but twice. They took accountability but it doesn’t make up for the fact that my cars repairs took as long as they did to be done correctly. If you have gotten repairs done here be sure to get them checked by another body shop."

"Can't fix a bumper because aftermarket OEM light ( they are the standard light just with leds in them) I don't know the lights make it to where you can't put clips on a bumper. They told me no one will touch it because it custom. But the Toyota dealership took my bumper on and off perfectly fine. Instead of making up stuff andjust be honest and say you don't wanna do I. I stead on making up a lie. This is the 2nd time this place tried to be sneaky. If you can avoid this place. It's not worth the trip and waste of time and money. FYI they will over charge. I know it was bad news when the lady asked for my email 10 plus times"

"I brought my car here for an estimate because my insurance (GEICO) recommended it. Decided to take it elsewhere after they gave me the estimate, they let me know that I would have to pay out of pocket for the reassemble of the vehicle. $250. I went to pick up the vehicle and the trunk was open and they said they couldn’t get it to shut because of the damage and they reassembled it to the best of their ability. So for them to make it “driveable” they duct taped it shut and let me drive off with it. When I got home, I removed the tape, checked the trunk latch and the screw holding it in place was loose… after adjusting the latch and tightening the screw the trunk closed perfectly fine. Mind you, I have no experience working on cars, and they are a body shop… that had no problem charging me for the partial reassemble of my vehicle."

"Classic Collision was a referral to us by our insurance company to repair our 2009 Subaru Forester, because we had rent a car reimbursement on our policy Classic Collision tied in with Enterprise Rent A Car. We made the appointment to leave our car with Classic, they arranged with Enterprise for the rental car, and off we went until our car was repaired and ready for pickup a few weeks later. Tom was our customer service rep at Classic who kept us informed via text and telephone on the work progress of our car. When we got notice to pick up our repaired car, we just left the rental car with them to get back to Enterprise and off we went in our newly repaired car which was beautiful. They had cleaned the car inside and out. That was really nice of them and unexpected. We would highly recommend Classic and also, a “High Five” to our insurance company, AARP Hartford."

They were able to fix both the accident damage and my broken windows in time to get the rental back before the 30 days max. Thank you so much.
