"Fun cozy place with AMAZING food!! I got a meatball banh mi for my girlfriend, had a bite, and immediately rushed back to order one for myself. The coconut sesame balls and key lime custard tarts are extraordinary. Service was friendly and fast. Can't wait to go back!!"
"We had high hopes and all 3 of us had the wide noodles, chicken, shrimp and spicy and all three were basically mush. Way overcooked and barely resembled noodles at all. The flavor wasn't bad but the texture was a complete turnoff. None of finished our plates. Oh well, you can win them all. To their credit, they did apologize and refunded the dish so I do appreciate that. They were busy so it can happen."
"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 14 years and have only been to Jade a handful of times. The food is just okay and the service is always very slow - for the price, I feel there are much better options out there. On my most recent visit, I ordered in person and waited for it to-go. Food took 25 minutes and they weren’t busy at all. I had to go up to the counter and ask if my order was ready. They made me wait even longer because they had to specially make my shrimp salad rolls. In all fairness, I got 4 rolls and they were pretty good! Peanut sauce is tasty. The sesame beef was good, but I had to chop it into bite sized pieces. Sticky rice clumped together too much and was hard to eat. Chicken papaya salad was bland, and the cabbage came in a big hunk. I had to chop it up myself, which was a bunch of extra work. The macaroons were tasty! I got raspberry, pistachio, salted caramel, and passionfruit. Salted caramel one tasted stale, but the rest were good. The family that runs Jade seems nice, but for $50+, I don’t feel Jade is worth it."
