"Best all around NW local casual “Cheers” bar in Portland, almost entirely scratch kitchen with great bar bites, scratch soups, basic satisfying salads and Sammy’s. Best Olde School clam chowder and local beef burgers that are nostalgic. Bar service with very generous pricing. Best Bang!‼️ for your buck in the neighborhood. Can’t wait to go back."

"Look, if you live in the neighborhood, you likely suffer from early closing establishments that don't accept phone orders for food and are over priced. Not here. These folks don't have an issue making my to go burger at 10pm, I love them for that. And it's good too. It's more home cooked feeling instead of an overly greasy shake shack burger. And it's sooo affordable. I love them for being able to just be there like good neighbors, a lot of other businesses could learn a thing or two about community from these folks. Thank God we have you! So tired of the complicated hoops I have to jump through to make a simple to go order everywhere else !!!! I don't wanna friggin door dash, or grub hub for a place I live next to (the pharmacy won't accept phone orders and neither will Ken's bakery, nor will half the businesses take cash around here.) But the knob, knows how to send a burger order 100% and I love it every single time! Always good."

"Affordable, good food and drinks in a chill and nostalgic space with kind and attentive staff. This has become a rarity these days. I especially appreciate having a dive bar/restaurant within walking distance of home, when most of the neighborhood is filled with boutique shops and high turnover (and noses) in other establishments. "Came here on 1/10 with some coworkers to try an awesome special which changes each night. Tonight was a fried chicken sandwich, with lettuce, cheese, mayo tomato and your choice of potato salad, fries, tator tots or soup. They have a lot of choices of chili, sandwiches and side items for a variety of people. I had a delicious sandwich full of flavor and moisture with a solid crunch. The potato salad was absolutely delicious with the paprika. I also tried some of the fries as a side dish and it was absolutely crispy and salted nicely. Paired with their house mustard. The atmosphere is very mellow and chill. 80s music blasts in the background and provides a whole vinlbe which makes you want to relax and chill. The wait staff was super friendly and quick to serve you as well. I would highly suggest trying this place and giving the food a glance. I personally do not drink alcohol, but I absolutely will hunt for great food spots."

"OK. That was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. We also had the clam strip. It was also excellent. It's a bar, so don't expect a high-end atmosphere. The service makes up for that. So glad we stopped in."
