About the Business
Godfather's Books is a charming book store located at 1108 Commercial Street in Astoria, Oregon. We offer a wide variety of both new and used books, ranging from classic literature to cookbooks, local authors, and metaphysical studies. Our shelves are filled with hidden gems waiting to be discovered.
But that's not all - we also serve delicious coffee and espresso from Portland-based roaster PANACHE, as well as a selection of teas, Italian sodas, and other beverages. Treat yourself to a special drink while you browse our collection or engage in conversations with our friendly staff.

Owner Charles Holboke has been in the book business since 1978, and opened Godfather's Books in Astoria in 1993. Our shop is located in historic Downtown Astoria, where you can explore the local attractions and enjoy the unique atmosphere of our store.
While we don't have an online inventory, our staff is happy to help you find a specific book or place a special order. "First off, when you first walk in, there's the local authors section! Way to support locals! I love it!. Great selection of books reasonably priced, alot of fun novelties, this was Saturday 2/10/24, the woman working that day,she was amazing!
