"Let's start with the good. The pancakes, jam, and housemate potatoes are amazing. Atmosphere is super cute. It's a order then seat yourself situation which was great as well. The negative : a very talkative gentleman who kind of interrupts with a few jokes, but doesn't seem to communicate the order correctly to the chef. Adding an ingredient to the sandwich despite asking for it on the side. Otherwise the experience was really great."
"Very neat and fun brunch spot. The scrambles all look so good and the Mediterranean Scramble was delicious. Also tried the Bacon Latte, which was a tasty and interesting drink - almost like a buttery latte, sweeter than a usual latte but also savory flavor."
"Lived in Portland for nearly a decade and finally checked out The New Deal Cafe. WOW! This place is amazing. For real: the food, the coffee, the vibes- all excellent. And the people working here were all super friendly and welcoming in the most genuine way. Not to mention, it was very easy to find parking on the street. Also, New Deal Cafe probably has the best breakfast burrito in town. FIVE STARS!"

"YUM!! such delicious food for a great price!!! blueberry pancakes were piping hot when they hit the table with a pot of fresh fruit clearly homemade the turkey and mango sandwhich was surprisingly good which, an unexpected combo. the atmosphere was amazing with so many people making the place feel comfy and cozy."
