Bundy's Cafe Drive-In

"We got there around 2pm today, was not busy. Two groups of people inside. One in a jeep outside. Ordered 2 BLTs, coleslaw, and tots. 2 drinks. $35. +$5 ish tip. No big deal. Little on the spendy side, I would understand if the food were decent. However, our order was incorrect the first go round after waiting about 20-25min. We received someone else’s order of chicken strips, fries, etc. we turned around and brought it back. My wife brought it in, after we had already looked through all the food realizing it was not ours. The younger girl who rang us up was visibly embarrassed and apologized multiple times. The middle aged guy was lolly gagging around, grumpy. He came over, looked through the food and pulled out some things. Closed the bag back up and brought it out to a girl in a car next to us. Didn’t re-make anything. Multiple peoples hands were all over that persons food. Dude goes back in. Lolly gagging around nonchalantly. The other woman working came back in from I assume a break. And she was really busting hard and working as fast as she could. Our order finally came out, about 40 minutes since our original order. Only to find out after we left, that they yet AGAIN messed up likely the simplest order that day. Two BLTs, tots, and coleslaw. We got the BLTs. But also got 4 orders of fries instead of the one order of tots. And no coleslaw. By the way, soggy Kringle fries are disgusting. Hence the reason we ordered tots. Pregnant wives can be pretty picky and get queasy easily. Which is the reason now, for a long review. Frustration. $40 bill for two not so great BLTs, and not even the rest of our proper order two times in a row in that 40 minutes or so. This is now the 5th and 6th time I have been there this last year and had the orders messed up. We will not likely be back, and I would not recommend to any friends or family coming out our way visiting at this point. Really hope bundys gets things right and sticks around, as they are a staple in this community. But not for that kind of service, and money spent for what we got. Pretty sad."

"Adorable drive in type restaurant. 50's ish decor inside and plays good music on radio. Good selection of food, everyone will be able to find something to eat at reasonable prices. Shake listing is huge, good stop for a bite to eat and ice cream. Or heck, even just dessert! Service is quick and friendly, even when they are busy!"

"I’m not sure what it was about that burger, I think it’s whatever they put in their “Bundy sauce” but it reminds me of sweet onion sauce and it’s amazing! My guy got a French dip and I got a bundy burger. Best burger I’ve had in so long. I wish I lived closer to this town I’d go there all the time! The fries are awesome too, money well spent!"

"Had a great lunch at Bundys. French Dip was good. The Au Jus however was lacking in flavor. Fish sandwich and burger got good remarks from the fam."

"We drive by - twice - every time we head to the coast on Hwy 30 so we stopped on a Friday afternoon around 1:30. Not too busy but then it got busy. We placed out to go order and it didn’t take too long. Their menu board is on a usb that is shown on 2 tvs above where your order is placed (they have outside order window as well). We waited outside for our food because inside got busy. We told them our vehicle and when our order was ready, they brought it out. 2 Original Bundy Cheddar Bacon Burgers with (1) Pepsi & (1) Huckleberry Milkshake & Tater Tots & potato salad (made in house). We got in our vehicle to leave and I was checking and found that they forgot my potato salad so we backed up - into their parking lot & I went inside. They corrected their error with no further issue. Overall, it was what I had expected and my curiosity is satisfied, Would recommend stopping by if you are in the area as pricing is reasonable, great seating options and food was good."
