"We have gone to Rufus for many years and since ownership changed our our experience has been increasingly bad. One groomer called and said our appt was on a certain day and I had a card she had written that said it was a different day. She said there was nothing she could do about it since she was already booked for the other time and couldn't fit us in. Thru the office manager we got an appt on the day we had originally scheduled with another groomer. I just picked up my dog. The groomers that were there have no sense of customer service. They felt it was their job to tell me how it took 4 hours to groom my dog (she had only been there 3 hours) and that we need to bring her back every 4 to 6 weeks, among other things. I have never been told that by the former groomers at Rufus du Monde so I don't know what's changed, and I have never read what the new groomers were telling me in any dog care books about our dog's breed. They were both very arrogant and I felt like I was another dumb customer who needed to be educated. Not ever going back."
"Heather at Rufus du Monde gave my cat a really exceptional lion cut yesterday. I dropped him off and she told me that the two of them would be done in thirty minutes, which was an accurate estimation. Heather also gave me some very good advice on nail maintenance. I have been to Rufus duMonde one time before, in October 2020, and I was pleased with my experience that time as well."
"I started taking my Golden Retriever here right as I brought her home (about 10 weeks old) to get her used to the groomer. We have been going ever since! My pup LOVES this place, and they do an absolutely outstanding job. They worked on training/socializing her by going slow and treating her frequently. Cannot recommend enough!"
