"We contracted Capital Custom Contractors back in February to demo and remodel our basement. Our home is over 100 yrs old and the basement was partially finished by previous owners via several DIY projects. It was not done well and was in drastic need of a tear down. Carlos and his team were one of the few contractors that actually responded to us for a walkthrough and estimate and we are thrilled that they did. After settling on a plan, we drew up a contract and set a start date about 6 weeks out. Carlos and his crew arrived on time every day with everything they needed. The project took almost two months to complete, but the results are fantastic. The basement is amazing and finally finished to code so its usable as a comfortable living space. This project was a complete demo of walls, stairs, flooring and involved some tricky rebuild due to the age of our home and having to adjust a lot of things to the wonky foundation walls and uneven floor. Carlos was able to overcome all these issues and on time, even with us constantly throwing small additions and requests at him throughout. He was willing to accommodate our changes and incorporated them in to our project. We are in love with our new basement and are already planning to have his team come back to replace two doors and rebuild a dilapidated 2nd floor balcony. We highly recommend CCC and plan to use them for any future projects."
