"Writing good reviews about hidden local gems is a fools game, it basically promotes more people to come then its no longer "hidden" and soon after, no longer a "gem" Thats sadly whats become of this little once upon a time beautiful spot. Too many people, too concerned about feel good about themselves reviews have made this too public knowledge and now its over crowded, over used and lost much of its once beautiful charm. Sad day, but a lesson to all, if you want your HIDDEN gems to stay hidden gems, don't announce them to the entire world as 5 star places to go..."

"I had never been here before to this park, I had to drive thru Richmond on the not so nice side but once I got near this park it was completely different & so nice. There's so many ppl running, bicycling or walking their dogs but I was here to fish. Great spot to fish & even caught about 5 fish that I released back in. Almost got spooled by something big out there that I'm going back again!!"

"This park is one of my all time favorites in East Bay. Perfect spot for viewing both sunrises and sunsets which is rare. On a clear day you can see the pristine outline of both the magnificent Bay Bridge as well as the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, reflect over the water. If you come for a sunset, stay til it gets dark because the city lights dancing over the water is the perfect way to end any night. You never have to leave your car for good views with great parking or you can take a walk and explore all the magic this park has to offer. Perfect for solitude, socialization, or a good smoke. You definitely want to check out this park it's amazing."

"Always a great place to walk next to the bay. There is the Bay Area trail which spands from Richmond to Emeryville...great for bicycling and jogging or just enjoying the fresh air and sceneries."
