"Buyer beware. My experience Two Men and A Truck for my move was a mess. The company significantly underestimated the needed truck capacity as well as the time required and estimated cost. I was suspicious of this prior to the move and shared my concerns, as well as photos of my property. I was unsure enough to rent a U-haul trailer just in case. On move day, three people came to the house, and while 2 worked very hard, the third essentially just rested on a stack of moving blankets all d\ay until sent home early. The move took significantly longer than the office estimated, and worse yet, as the day progressed it became clear they would be unable to move all of our property. It was lucky I had a trailer, however as the time came to start loading it, it was also clear it was not big enough and now too late to secure a larger vehicle. Two Men and a Truck had not solutions, and displayed little concern for the predicament. As I had to be out of the rental property that weekend, the end result is that I was forced to make 3 separate 6 hour round trip drives, moving much of the belongings myself. Even worse, tat the end of moving what they did, the company charges me an additional $1,000 over the estimate! This is a 30% error in the estimate! This move should have been easier hiring a advertised professional moving company, however that was simply not the case. Instead I paid a substantial bill for substandard service and a nightmare of a weekend! Talking with others, it seems dramatic underestimated quotes are a business model for this company....DON'T TRUST THE QUOTE! And you better have a backup plan!"
