"Only 2 self-wash bays so there’s sometimes a wait. Forget about getting someone to answer the phone. No supplies except tiny apron and small ratty towels, but overworked staff is always helpful and it’s a convenient location."

"I'd give zero stars if I could. My dog needed a bath and flea dip. His vet says this year has been the worst he's seen for pets with fleas. My dog was goomed (somewhere else) at the end of July and just needed a supplemental bath and dip without the groom. First, I waited at the desk for a while, waiting for someone to help. The vet techs just ignore you when you stand on the groom side. A cashier from the other side of the store finally came over to see who the appointment was with, then went to find her. She refused to take my dog to bathe because he's on a painkiller (he tore his CCL). They don't discuss dosage or frequency, they just say no, it's considered a sedative. My dog is far from sedated! I'm having a difficult time restricting his activity so he can heal. The pain killers do not sedate him. They have vets on site, and could assess by checking weight, dosage, and frequency. Instead they just refuse to complete the service. Now I'm not going to Petco for anything until they reassess their policy to be more pet-focused. They have the resources available to serve all clients, and I'm pretty sure their blanket liability release covers them."
