"I was a walk-in on Tuesday, October 10th and I couldn't believe I was in and out in 10 minutes. The lady at the front took my test orders and directed me to the kiosk to check in. It took all of 30 secs. She asked me to take a seat. A minute later this pleasant young lady asked me to wake a seat in a booth. I told her in full disclosure that I hate needles, but we need to get through this. I looked away and felt a rubber strap around my arm and waited for the needle jab. Less than two minutes later she said I could stop making a fist. She had two full vials. I couldn't believe she was finished as I was still waiting for the javelin to pierce my arm. I am going to drive to Albany for all my future blood work. Incredible experience."

"Ok, I am updating my review, because today was a total 180 from previous visits. Today I WAS greeted by the person at the front desk, Mabel. She was very friendly and nice. Though I was a walk in and there were 2 people ahead of me when I got there, by the time I was done with providing a urine sample, I was called up for the bloodwork by phlebotomist Shaniqua (spelling?). Shaniqua was also very nice and friendly. After my numerous prior experiences here, I was so surprised when she called out a friendly greeting to a customer that entered, that I had to ask her name and if she was new to this location. Turns out she is a "floater," but I'm sure hoping Labcorp offers her, and Mabel, permanent positions at the Albany location, as the two of them made the visit here SO much better. Getting blood drawn is never fun, especially if you haven't eaten for 12 hours or more, so having friendly and helpful staff makes a huge difference. If Shaniqua and Mabel become permanent staff here, this place will become 5 stars for sure. Original review (written right before my most recent visit): Never, ever answers the phone. It routes caller to a mailbox that is always full. They never acknowledge me when I come in, even when there is someone sitting at the front desk. And it's not just me, as I've sat there waiting for my blood draw and watched the staff act like they don't see the people coming in. If someone is confused by the check in process (it's a stupid kiosk), and has a question, they are ignored until the customer speaks up, and then the staff usually acts irritated and treats the customer like they're an idiot. I have literally stood in front of the desk to ask a question and the person acted like I was not there, and then proceeded to get up, staring at her phone, and walk outside. At least it's not usually crowded. But that begs the question as to why they won't answer the phone or acknowledge people when they walk in."
