"We have a 3 year old doodle who was born blind and terrified of groomers. While on an extended visit to Fort Bragg, I took him to Salty Paws for the self wash. The owner was so kind, offered tips and brought me tools throughout the whole process. My dog loved her. So I took him back a week later for nail trim and sanitary trim and although he was definitely nervous, she got the job done and he tolerated it. All of the dogs I witnessed coming and going were happy and calm. Felicia is so gentle and dogs obviously love and trust her. I will gladly make the 1 1/2 hour drive to Salty Paws."

"This is a wonderful grooming shop. The owner is very knowledgeable and professional. She has a love for animals that shines through. There aren’t many choices in a small town and great groomers have a high demand. Because of this, she has had to set boundaries on how many clients she can accommodate in her schedule. I saw her appointment book and she already works 6 days a week! If she is booked out 3 months, she certainly can’t cancel an already booked client to take a walk in. I don’t know any groomer that has taken walk ins. I have lived out of the area and that was the case for even large shops in big metropolitan areas with multiple groomers. This isn’t unique to just her shop. She provides the option of a waiting list, so that she can fill a spot if a client cancels or reschedules. She does a wonderful job with our pups and they always come home clean and perfectly groomed. My littlest Yorkie is a bit of a drama queen, but she always comes home from her spa day looking adorable!"
