"Stopped in for a drink. Owner was super nice and gave us some history of the hotel. Although we were not staying he let us look around and explore the rooms. Plan to go back for a meal. Star ratings should be based on reviews, not whether you paid an exorbitant amount for increased stars."
"If you're into old buildings, this is definitely worth a stop. I just got a latte at the diner/restaurant which was quite good. But it's just a neat place and I love how they decorate for Fall and Halloween!"
"The service was very slow, we waited about 45 minutes for our food. Waitress was very slow bringing and refilling coffee. Food always leaves something to be desired. Love the location and decor, but not worth the stop."

"I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The room was the freshest smelling hotel room I have stayed in - no mustiness from the air conditioner at all. Our room had a lovely antique chair and desk in it, and the rest of the furnishings were new. The owner stayed late to cook my husband and I dinner. Everything was freshly cooked, and seemed garden fresh. Ask him about his beautiful renovations! We plan to stay again."
