"Stayed here with some friends. Was disappointed that when we arrived we were not greeted or shown around. There was no communication. It would have been nice to know where things were located and how things operated. We got scolded because we used the wrong bathroom (no signage up or explanation)… we had an extra guy with us so he had a blow up mattress… couldn’t do that either I guess. One night we left some playing cards left out along with 2 cans and a cup… even though we were told we’d be the only ones here. We had a coffee ground spill… there was 0 cleaning supplies in sight and no direction of where it would be… they also for some reason went in all of our rooms… they didn’t pick anything up, organize anything or make a bed… only to unplug our phone chargers… kinda weird… so they complained about all of this for there to be expired food and juices for us to eat and drink. Very odd experience to say the least. Expected more. Disappointed."
"Couldn’t have had a better experience all around. The converted barn at back is a charming music venue and the drinks are tasty. Very comfortable and thoughtful accommodations."
"We just checked out the barn portion of the Gehlen House, which is open Thu-Sun I belive. The owners were very welcoming and they had a great selection of craft beers! The space is very cool to explore, and it reminded us of our time in Europe with the historic buildings and lovely hilly setting. The barn would be great for a party or other event."
