"Make sure your kids are well disciplined before joining. They don't teach that from my experience. They will be asked to sit with their parents and not rejoin the class. Not for ADHD or other special needs kids. To address the response below, the instructor was the owner. If that's how he wants to run the class, that's his prerogative. When we were considering Surge as an option for our kids, they told us it's a great way to learn discipline and behavior skills. That would be great, but I'm just pointing out that is not the reality. Other classes, with staff instructors, they did work with our kids, gave them a time out when needed, but eventually brought them back into the class. When the owner ran the session, my kids were kicked out, in front of the class and all the other parents. Very embarrassing and not a way to treat your customers. We could have talked about private lessons or other options, but I was too upset to have that conversation and the owner did not want to have it either."

The instructors are excellent and they really care for each student and try to help them improve both physically and mentally. The others student help push each other to do their best while still maintaining a respectful atmosphere.
