"Stayed one night a room with 2 double beds. We were 3 adults and had plenty room. Bath and room amenities were good. Like that we were able to use our Netflix acct in room and watch shows. Location is great and we got a view of the Capitol building. Everything was very walkable with plenty options right by hotel or else withing a stones throw of state street. Also had breakfast at 'Audrey's'. Service and ambiance was very nice. Did not visit the bar during our stay but the place was busy and every bar stool taken. The bar tenders were busy and keeping their patrons happy. Parking is extra and cost us $25 a day. That was unexpected but is what it is. Would I stay again: sure but I will probably look for something that includes parking, if such a thing exists."

"Service was excellent.. Checked me in early without any issues. Room was great and had dinner at the bar with prompt good service. Food was good not outstanding. Pretzel bites a bit hard and not enough dip for all the bites. Caesar was ok. Wine was Outstanding!"

"Beautiful views from almost every room. I stay here for work once per year, and have visited for several years now. It’s a convenient location when attending events at Monona Terrace with the covered walkway. Parking garage is very cramped, but I feel like that’s most big cities. Within walking distance to the Capitol and several great places to eat!"

"Nice sized rooms, nice lounge area. Did not appreciate the need to have a card with at least $75.00 on it to hold my room upon not even paying for this myself as it was paid for by the organization I was with. This caused several setbacks even though the charge fell off after 3 full days of waiting. Not ideal to charge those who didn't even pay for the rooms! Some had been double and triple charged even. Definitely a good way to put a damper on what was supposed to be an exciting time with a group of changemakers!"

"Updates: On our second night at this hotel, my wife and I went to front desk to request a snake voucher since the executive lounge was closed. Will, the person at front desk, was very very rude to us. First of all he claimed that both of us should get 1 snake voucher only and when I inquired why he responded because it is a big portion. When I responded that as a diamond member I usually get two vouchers in similar situations, his response was different hotels have different rules. I responded this is my second night and I got two yesterday- he nervously grabbed the second voucher wrote the room number on and literally through it on the counter in a very rude way. I really have no comment.. Initial review: Similar to other diamond members reviews here, diamond status does not mean anything here except for having a reserved parking spot. We were treated very poorly by front desk. I inquired about an upgraded room whether available or not and it was available. When I requested a free upgrade my request was declined and was asked for an additional $50 for an upgrade. I requested to see the room before I pay for the upgrade and my request was also declined because there was only one front desk employee on duty until someone else show up. Very unpleasant experience on Thanksgiving day when the hotel it is not expected to be busy."
